Your garage door is designed to keep out intruders, and pests, and provide some protection from the elements. However, they are susceptible to moisture damage which can lead to many issues. Water exposure can cause rust, corrosion, mold and mildew growth. Most water damage to garage doors is caused by rain. You cannot prevent rain, but you can take preventative measures to protect your garage door. Here are some tips for protecting your garage door from water damage:
